I have tried all kinds of bread recipes and this is my favorite. Readers love it too! What good is this? This banana bread is the most banana bread I’ve ever made. 2 cups of mashed bananas, that’s 4 large bananas. Bananas add moisture and flavor to the finished product.
Did you know you can use your electric blender to mash bananas? Smash or cut the sliced banana into large chunks and place in the bowl of your stand mixer – or use a regular bowl and hand mixer. Start beating on low speed, then gradually increase the speed-high as the banana breaks down the mashed banana. Transfer the bananas to another bowl and use the mixing bowl for the banana bread. Wrapped tightly in foil or foil, banana bread will keep for up to 5 days. You can freeze banana bread for up to 3 months in the refrigerator. However, over the years, I have found that freeze-dried bananas have turned delicious banana bread into something I can’t stop eating!
Because when it is boiled, the banana becomes soft and pleasant. And those waters are gold! Do not discard the water, it will make the dough soggy and tasteless.
When you have nice, ripe bananas with big black spots on them, put them in the fridge. (And yes, using black bananas is great!)
Use a large bowl to make the batter. I use a 4qt bowl (the largest bowl in this set).
