I use organic Monkfruit in this recipe to keep it sugar free, especially this Monkfruit Baking Sweetener. It measures 1:1 as table sugar and works great for baking. It has zero calories, no carbs, and won’t spike your blood sugar.

Feel free to use your favorite sweetener. If you use stevia or artificial sweeteners, you will need to convert the servings. Since monk fruit is a 1:1 ratio, you can follow your standard calculation method.

If you are not worried about the amount of sugar used, you can also use half a cup of pure honey.

I like the taste of butter in my bread, but I cut the standard amount of butter usually used in half, but with unsweetened applesauce.

I do not recommend replacing all the butter described in this recipe with more applesauce. You need some oil. Instead, you can replace 2 1/2 tablespoons of oil with coconut oil or avocado oil.

Bread must be completely cooled before freezing. Wrap the bread in foil and place in a resealable bag. Will freeze for up to 4 months.
