You’d never know it by the taste, though. Why I Love Applesauce Banana Oatmeal Bread I’m a big fan of quick bread recipes. Baking with yeast has its time and place, but I just haven’t had the time lately. That’s why this recipe, made with bananas, applesauce, oats, flour, almond milk and a few other ingredients, comes together so quickly and is made with ingredients I usually have on hand. 🥘 Ingredients for this recipe ripe bananas apples compote almond milk egg honey vanilla all-purpose flour baking soda cinnamon salt 🔪Instructions for this recipe First heat the oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9-inch pan with cooking spray. Next, prepare the wet ingredients. In a medium bowl, mash the bananas. Then add applesauce, milk, egg, honey and vanilla. Then mix in the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Then mix wet and dry. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until there are no lumps. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining oats on top. Finally bake the bread! Bake for 60-70 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
