Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sea salt in a medium bowl and set aside for later use.

In a large bowl, combine bananas, eggs, vanilla, honey, applesauce, Greek yogurt, and melted butter. Blend until the mixture is smooth.

Next, mix the dry ingredients mixture until blended, adding toppings if desired. This bread is delicious enough to hold without adding it, but my kids never scoff at the idea of ​​adding chocolate! 🙂

Moist Applesauce Bread (w/whole Wheat Flour)

Pour healthy banana bread into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out with moist crumbs.

Cool whole-wheat banana bread in the pan for at least 30 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.

Once the bread has cooled enough, slice it and enjoy! I recommend adding it to one of my homemade Honey Cinnamon Butter, Homemade Peanut Butter, or Homemade Vanilla Almond Butter.
