Blueberry Banana is one of my favorite flavor combinations. It’s my favorite sweet flavor, so of course I’m very happy to have it in my quick breads as well.
Healthy Lemon Blueberry Bread
Of course, I never miss a thick slice of classic nutty banana bread, and my gluten-free banana bread includes dark chocolate chips to top it off.
This blueberry banana bread recipe is my absolute favorite though. It has the most amazingly smooth yet lovely texture, flavors of banana and vanilla, with delicious juicy blueberries.
It’s also super easy to make, and it’s full of nutritious ingredients that I can feel good about. 🙂
It has a rich, healthy texture from a combination of whole grain flour and almond flour, and is great whether you’re on a gluten-free diet or not.
Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins
This healthy quick bread only needs 10 minutes of hand work, then it’s ready to bake!
Pro tip: This recipe comes together in just one bowl. Mash the banana in the bowl first and then add the rest of the ingredients in the order given in the recipe.
Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-5 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Yes, you can freeze whole banana bread and blueberry bread, or you can freeze individual slices. I recommend wrapping the bread in plastic wrap and then sealing in a freezer bag to prevent freezer burn.
One Bowl Blueberry Banana Bread (no Eggs!)
This recipe also goes well with Blueberry Banana Muffins. Line a muffin tin with paper and divide the batter evenly between them. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

As we head into blueberry season, this moist, hearty and delicious bread recipe is the perfect way to use up any fresh or frozen berries you have on hand. Do you want to throw raspberries or strawberries? You are welcome. The more variety, the merrier.
When it comes to healthy baking, yogurt is your friend. Not only is yogurt an excellent source of calcium, protein, and vitamin D, it also adds moisture and texture to pancakes, muffins, and more.
