Diabetic Friendly Banana Bread Recipe – After almost 10 months of blogging, I’m officially announcing that I’m changing my posting schedule from 3 posts per week to 2 posts per week.
It’s been a very busy week, both at work and outside of work, so I haven’t had time to log into my blog account for 5 days. But instead of feeling guilty, I am enjoying this new fast pace of work and blogging. For the past 2 months I have been working hard on the blog, trying to build an audience in less time, resulting in total burnout. This fact has taught me a lesson that blogging is a long-term commitment that requires time and dedication. Haste doesn’t work.

This week, instead of bringing my Nikon and taking every dish I have at the restaurant, I enjoy the meal without thinking about what to write on my blog. I really liked the way it felt and decided I wanted to make more.
This Recipe For Sugar Free Banana Bread Is Really Delicious
There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Going too far is as bad as not going too far.” This is definitely true. This long and hectic work week gave me a break from blogging and prompted me to rethink my work-blog balance. I’ll take it easy on the number of posts and see how it pans out in the coming months.
I haven’t cooked for days and this banana bread was made last weekend. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to baking, so I won’t be writing lengthy instructional posts just to pretend I’m good at it. In fact, this is my third time baking bread and my first time baking banana bread.
I did some research online. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * , 1/3 . Hi I’m Maggie Xu! Welcome to my site on modern Chinese cooking – which includes street food, family cuisine and restaurant cuisine. I take a less laborious approach while still maintaining the taste and appearance of the food. I am originally from Beijing and now cook from my New York kitchen. Want to make someone’s day? Bake them banana bread! Yesterday, I said, “I’m going to bake banana bread,” and on Christmas morning a full grown man’s eyes lit up like a child’s.
Banana bread is one of those classic, All-American comfort foods that fills the whole house with warmth and makes everything better. Banana Bread
Low Carb Banana Bread (gluten Free & No Sugar)
I made this banana bread recipe for my cookbook and wanted to share it with you all here. This recipe has all the hallmarks of a classic banana bread—it’s full of fluffy, moist, sweet banana flavor, and is loved by kids and adults alike.
As you can see, my homemade banana bread has a lot of good qualities, and most importantly, it won’t send your blood sugar levels for a loop. However, you can keep them all to yourself. No one can say that banana bread is healthy!
This recipe is flexible! Any of the following flours will work well. I like to use white whole wheat flour and whole wheat pastry flour—they provide all the nutrients of whole wheat, without the distinctive nutty flavor.
*As a substitute for oat flour, you should use 2 1/2 cups, for the reasons described in my guide to oat flour.
Walnut Banana Bread
Want to make banana bread with almond flour? You certainly can, but it’s not an easy option, so follow my almond flour-based banana bread recipe instead.
For best results, it’s important to measure your flour accurately. Here’s how to measure flour into cups using the “spoon and swoop” method:
Now that I’ve perfected this basic banana bread, feel free to tweak this recipe and make it your own. Add some chopped pecans or walnuts to the batter! Same goes for chocolate chips. You can also add raisins, chopped nuts or pieces of banana to it.
Following a special diet? With a few small changes, you can make this bread vegan (so dairy-free and egg-free too) or gluten-free. See recipe notes for details.
This 3 Ingredient Banana Bread Recipe Is Almost Too Easy Recipe
With this healthy banana bread recipe, you have some simple ingredients to make the best banana bread ever! It is made from whole wheat flour and is naturally sweetened with honey or maple syrup. You can easily make this banana bread vegan or gluten-free—see recipe notes for details. Recipe yields 1 loaf (about 10 slices).
Storage Recommendations: Since this bread is moist, it will only keep at room temperature for two or three days. Store in the refrigerator for five to seven days or in the freezer for up to three months. I like to slice the bread individually before freezing it, either by letting it rest at room temperature or by lightly toasting it.
*Oil substitutes: I love coconut oil here. I used unrefined coconut oil and could not taste it in the final product. If you like it, olive oil can give the muffins an herbal note (I tried California Olive Ranch’s “Every Day” variety and couldn’t taste it either). Vegetable oil has a neutral flavor, but the average vegetable/canola oil is highly processed, so I recommend using cold pressed sunflower oil or grape seed oil if possible.
**Flour substitute: Instead of whole wheat flour, you can use equal amounts of all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, spelled flour, or a gluten-free all-purpose flour mix. Or, substitute 2 cups oatmeal.
Banana Loaf Recipe
Make it vegan: Use maple syrup instead of honey, use flax eggs instead of eggs and choose non-dairy milk (I used almond milk) or water.
Reduce the Fat: I would argue that this bread contains a healthy amount of fat, but you can replace the oil with apple sauce if you follow a low-fat diet.

According to Google, during the coronavirus pandemic, it became one of the most sought after dishes on the internet.
Eager to try and experiment with it, I created my own version to add more fiber and nutrients to help with health issues.
Before the start of the coronavirus pandemic in December 2019, I ate banana bread only twice.
Even when there was talk of the lockdown, before it began, supermarket shelves were emptied of flour, rice and pasta by panicked shoppers. After a short time, it became clear that this was a short-term problem, and these items became available again. Shoppers, myself included, had superfluous leftovers of these staples (not to mention toilet paper) that had to be used up as quickly as possible to make room for overflowing shelves.

After the lockdown in March 2020, online shopping became the order of the day, but since delivery slots were often unavailable, families faced a temporary shortage of fresh food from time to time. So, with more time to try making our own bread, many of us started experimenting, and that’s when I learned how to make banana bread. It was great, but I thought it could be improved with a little manipulation
