STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9″ x 5″ baking pan with parchment paper. I like to hang extra parchment around the sides of the baking sheet to make it easier to remove the bread from the pan after baking. Just take it from the parchment. Simple! Prepare flax eggs by mixing flax seeds and water.

STEP 2: Add the bananas to a large bowl and mash well with a fork. Add remaining wet ingredients (flax eggs, maple syrup, milk, butter, vanilla extract).

STEP 4: Add the dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add chocolate chips and walnuts. Stir to spread over the dough.

STEP 5: Transfer to a 9″ x 5″ baking dish and sprinkle with additional nuts or chocolate chips, if desired. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
