What’s In A Java Chip Frappuccino From Starbucks?

Milk – I use whole milk because it makes the drink rich and creamy, but you can also use skim or low-fat milk. Plant milk like almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk etc.

Chocolate Syrup – Add chocolate syrup for a delicious chocolate flavor. I used Hershey’s. You can also make your own chocolate syrup using this simple recipe.

Mini Chocolate Chips – Mini Chocolate Chips are easier to mix than regular ones. For a rich chocolate flavor, use the highest quality dark chocolate chips.

Ground cinnamon – cinnamon and chocolate are a great combination. Just add a pinch of cinnamon to enhance the chocolate flavor.

When preparing this drink at home, you can choose to add it or not. If adding, use ¼ teaspoon in the recipe below.

Add 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, ¼ cup mini dark chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, 1 and ½ cups ice, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 pinch of cinnamon in a high-speed blender.

Note – Add 2 shots of espresso or ½ cup of strong coffee if you want to make it with coffee.
