If you prefer a sweeter banana bread, you can make it by adding maple syrup (about 3 teaspoons) to the batter or adding chocolate chips to the batter.
Because there is no flour in this bread, it is denser than quick bread. It is also very moisturizing. Ground oats give the bread a slightly chewy texture.

Prepare the pan. Line a 9X5 loaf pan. Cut 9 inch wide strips of parchment paper. Then fold it over to fit the bottom and long edges of the pan. Spray or grease the pan and paper.
