I recommend using a glass bowl to make banana bread. I’ve used toasters before, and almost always, the edges of the bread come out dry and underbaked.
The reason for this is that the pan is hot, and it gets hot in the oven. And if it’s too hot, it will burn the sides of the banana bread before the inside has a chance to fully cook.
Enter: glass bakeware. I love this as much as I love using white ceramic dishes – they won’t get too hot and will cook portions of everything you do. I have these and they work great for me!
