I have made this recipe so many times that I have found the perfect ratio of fat, liquid and dry ingredients to make these little cakes soft and moist.

To begin, we need to combine all of our dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon) in a mixing bowl and set aside.
