Banana Cake With Frozen Bananas – My banana bread recipe from 2013 and it’s the best!! This recipe makes the freshest and tastiest breads with simple ingredients and a wooden spoon! The Only Banana Bread Recipe You’ll Ever Need!!
First, a quick disclaimer. I am guilty of getting some of my best recipes right. I know this is subjective. But I promise you, I don’t take this thing lightly.
Banana Cake With Frozen Bananas
This banana bread recipe has been my favorite since 2013! And yes, I still try other techniques, but I always come back to this one. I wouldn’t be lying if I said that I made this quick bread recipe in almost a week and it didn’t last more than 3 days!

However, over the years I have found that overripe bananas turn a good banana bread into a can’t stop eating!
Because when melted, bananas become very soft and runny. And all juices are gold! Don’t throw away the water, it keeps the bread moist and delicious.
When you have nice and ripe bananas with lots of black spots, put them in the freezer. (And yes, black bananas are perfectly fine to use!)
Use a large bowl to make the dough. I used a 4qt bowl (the largest bowl in this set).

Insert a long skewer or toothpick to test for doneness. If it comes out clean, the bread is ready!
And if you want to make a half batch (just 1 loaf or 12 muffins), follow my banana muffin recipe instead. It’s the same recipe, but in half the time.
However, I always put them in the fridge. Most likely, they should not be visible, otherwise they will disappear in a few hours.
To keep banana bread cool, be sure to cover it with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container.

To serve, I microwaved the slice for about 30 seconds and it tastes like it just came out of the oven!

Don’t waste most bananas just yet—you can freeze them and make delicious baked goods without spoiling the produce. This is over. In fact, if you use frozen fruit, making banana bread can be easier than ever.
A bunch of bananas can take up to five days to fully ripen on the table. Once they are ripe, you can refrigerate them for another five to seven days before they start to get too ripe for comfort. Once that happens, you can freeze them for three months in a number of ways. It is best to remove the peel beforehand, as peeling already cold bananas can be difficult and messy – the peels turn black and the bananas become quite sharp as they peel. Instead, it’s easier to peel the bananas you want to store and store them whole in a labeled, freezer-safe bag. If you plan to make more smoothies than baked goods, you can cut the bananas before freezing to make them easier to measure. Be sure to freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet before placing in a container for storage. That way, the individual pieces won’t stick together.

What do you do when you have a banana? There are many banana bread recipes that work just as well with frozen bananas. There are also many vegetarian recipes that use bananas instead of eggs, and frozen fruit works well too. In fact, freezing frozen bananas can produce something very soft that is very easy to mix with dry produce. However, it’s a good idea to read the recipe beforehand and make sure it doesn’t explicitly call for fresh bananas. The good news, though: most of them won’t! Once you’ve found the perfect recipe like this one, simply place the bananas in a bowl at room temperature and they’ll be ready in no time.

The Best Vegan Banana Bread You’ll Ever Eat
Cake – For this banana cake recipe, you will also need ingredients from the cake mix. Important note: Some white cake mixes have two parts, one with egg whites and one with whole eggs. If you have the option, use the number of eggs called for in the whole egg version.
THE DISH – To freeze, you’ll need a bowl of instant banana pudding mix, some milk and whipping cream. You can use buttercream frosting or cream cheese frosting on this banana cake if you like.

We haven’t tested this recipe in a cupcake version, although I think it would be good. I recommend filling the cupcake cases 2/3 full to give the cupcakes room to rise. Bake for about 25 minutes or until an egg comes out clean. You can also refer to the back of the package of the cake mix you are using to see the recommended baking time for the cakes. Some oven temperatures are hotter than others and you definitely want the cakes to be nice and moist, not overbaked – so keep them in the oven around the 20 minute mark.

Serve at room temperature for birthdays, parties, potlucks, or any occasion you like! If you want to decorate the cake with banana slices, wait until you are ready to serve so that the banana slices do not brown.
