So if you have ripe bananas, you are ready to start making this recipe! And don’t be surprised if it’s the tastiest banana bread you’ve ever had. I warned you!

Before starting, take a ripe banana (preferably ripe) and peel it. Place your ripe bananas in an airtight bag or freezer bag, seal, and place in your refrigerator.

I like to plan ahead and refrigerate them overnight, but as long as you keep them in your fridge for at least a few hours you will be good to go.

When you use frozen bananas, you add flavor and moisture to your banana bread. It’s very tasty with little planning required to freeze your bananas.

And as for the ingredients, all you need is a pan, a large mixing bowl and an old wooden spoon to stir it up.

Once you freeze the bananas and the ingredients together, the prep time is five minutes and the cooking time is about sixty.

Pure sugar: Sugar provides the perfect amount of sweetness without adding too much water. But if you don’t have pure sugar, you can use one of the alternatives. Go with palm sugar, maple sugar, palm sugar or cane sugar at a 1:1 ratio.

All-Purpose Flour: If you don’t have all-purpose flour or want to make this recipe sugar-free, there are several options you can use. For gluten-free flour, use arrowroot flour, wheat flour or almond flour. If gluten is not a problem, you can use whole wheat flour or flour. Vanilla extract: Vanilla extract is used to enhance the flavor of your banana bread. If you are finished, you can use almond flakes, vanilla powder, vanilla powder or leave it alone.

First, immediate rejection. I was wrong to ask for some of my best. I know that’s definitely the point. But I promise I don’t take this lightly.

This banana bread is my favorite since 2013! Of course, I’ve tried other recipes too, but I always come back to this one. I wouldn’t be lying if I said that I made this quick bread recipe almost every week and it never lasted more than 3 days!

When you get a ripe banana with lots of brown spots, put it in the fridge. (And yes, black bananas are perfectly fine to use!)

Use a large bowl to make the batter. I use a 4qt pan (the largest pan for this set).

To check for doneness, insert a long stick or toothpick. If it comes out clean, the bread is done!

And if you want to make half a loaf (just 1 slice or 12 muffins), follow my banana recipe. It’s the same way, but on one and a half lines.

However, I always put it in the fridge. Mostly so they don’t do it so they don’t show up or disappear within hours.

To keep banana bread fresh, be sure to cover it with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container.

Microwave it for 30 seconds and it will taste just like it came out of the oven!
