This three-ingredient banana bread ends up being a bit sweeter than some of our other banana breads, but it was delicious and loved by the whole family. It’s especially nice to make when you’re running out of pantry staples but still want delicious bread.

You need ripe or better bananas for this simple recipe. You can tell when your bananas are ripe when most of the leaves are wrinkled brown.

When my bananas reach this stage, I put them in the freezer. That way I keep them on hand to use in recipes. Bananas can be frozen for up to 3 months. When you want to use them, let them boil, cut off the top of the peel, gently squeeze the other end and the banana will peel right away.
