100 Oat Flour Bread Recipe
This bread is based on another oat bread recipe from this collection. But this recipe uses the ideas of a master baker to create delicious, crunchy breads.

You can double this recipe, but make the loaves the same size as the loaves are very moist. It takes time to grow; start after dinner the night before, and the next afternoon you will bake the bread.
Note: The hard crusts you want are made by steaming. You can steam it in the oven for the first 5 minutes. Place the pan on the rack under the stone and pour 2 cups of boiling water into it after placing the bread in the oven.
Spray the sides of the oven with water from the nozzle 2 or 3 times in the first 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 F and bake for about 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 190 F.
The bread will freeze to dry, so let it cool for at least 2 hours before slicing or it will look like it’s sprouting on the inside.

12. At the 1 hour and 30 minute mark, place the dutch oven in the oven and preheat to 500F for about 30 minutes. Remove dutch oven, invert bread onto dutch oven, label, place in dutch oven, cover and place in oven. Reduce oven temperature to 475 F and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid from the dutch oven and bake for 25-30 minutes at 450F. Leave to cool completely. You guys LOVE the taste and love that we don’t use flour, oil or refined butter. However, one of the most common questions I get is how to make this recipe less sweet.
After so many requests for a sweet version, I decided I had to try a few and see what I could do. I know it will be difficult to reduce bees because bees are like binders. I followed a reader’s suggestion that reduced the honey and used hemp as a binder. I made several versions to correct this as even small adjustments to the amount of salt, flax and honey made a big difference in the final result.
Best Ever Oatmeal Bread Recipe With Molasses
There were two good versions, so I had trouble deciding which one to put. I know many of you wanted the honey-free version, but in our opinion (Mr. Hungry and I), the best version is the one with two tablespoons of honey in the whole loaf (reduced to 1/2 cup of the first version), so this is what I’m posting today!
The honey really balances out the saltiness and earthiness of the flaxseed oatmeal. This bread is perfect with sandwich ingredients like avocado, lunch meat and cheese. I think it’s better to make an open sandwich, because it’s a bit crumbly for a regular sandwich, it’s a bit sticky if you toast it in the toaster oven! Oat Bran Bread Recipe
Original Non-Dairy Milk – Non-dairy milk will work here, but you want the original unsweetened version, not vanilla. I’m not sure if cow’s milk is okay because it’s high in fat and protein. If you don’t have skim milk, I just use water.
Honey – you can turn corn syrup into honey. You can leave out the honey, but a little sweetness helps balance out the bread and create a classic sandwich flavor.
Drug Land – DON’T. Flax acts as a binder instead of honey in the honey version of oats, NOTHING. Plus, it’s good for you!
Eggs – I haven’t tried substituting more flax or chia eggs. One of the versions I tried had more cannabis and I didn’t like it. Flax can be too much. The egg helps bind and helps the bread rise a bit, so I’m not sure if removing it is okay. If you try it, let us know in the comments!
